photography has always been close to my heart, that’s all thanks to my aunt in the Philippines. Growing up, she was always the one with a camera in hand, snapping photos of everything—family events, random occasions, and even just funny little moments of me and my brother. Growing up, I was surrounded by these photos, and it really made me appreciate the value of capturing memories. They told our story, and it made me realize how precious it is to have memories like that preserved. My aunt was like a second mom to me and her love for documenting everything inspired my love for photography.
